Fabian Women’s Network invites you to our Labour Party conference fringe in Liverpool: Speak up, dears! Women in post-Brexit Britain.
Join our fringe on 26 September at 8.30-10am in the Event Suite on the fourth floor of the Merseyside maritime museum for a lively discussion on what Brexit means for women. From international politics to workers’ rights, business and food safety, we will be working on a manifesto to reach out to women all over the country to ensure female voices are heard in the Brexit negotiations.
Confirmed speakers include FWN President Seema Malhotra MP; Mary Honeyball MEP; Clare Moody MEP; Emma Reynolds MP; Catherine Fookes, Organic Trade Board; Jayne Almond, Food and Drink Federation; Jessie Jacobs, Stronger In campaign in the North East; and Melanie Onn MP who recently presented a Ten Minute Rule Bill in Parliament calling on the Government to safeguard workers’ rights derived from European Union legislation after the withdrawal of the UK from the EU.
